The sheen effect depends on the paper and writing instrument you choose, and you will experience different sheen effect strengths. The fascinating effect unfolds best on smooth, non-absorbent paper . Wherever your writing instrument releases plenty of ink, the bright metallic sheen appears.
To enjoy the sheen effect in all its glory, we recommend high-quality, non-absorbent writing paper and fountain pens with a generous ink flow and a wide nib. The effect is particularly noticeable when you write with a glass nib or a calligraphy pen or use a refillable brush pen.  To show only the base color without sheen, use absorbent paper.

The inks are water-soluble and dry a little more slowly than conventional inks due to their composition. Only vegan ingredients are used in the production of the sheen inks.
